Bio

Aaron Jenkins teaches students of all ages and skill levels, and anybody who is seeking private instruction is welcome. Beginners will learn the fundamentals of their instrument, as well as how to read music, basic music theory, and ear training. More advanced students will learn how to enhance their technique, gain a deeper understanding of music theory and improvisation, and gather a greater knowledge of jazz and classical repertoire.

Aaron has been working with private music students since 2003 in both the Tacoma and Seattle areas. He has participated as a counselor and teacher in some of the area’s best summer music programs, including Camp Burton, West Side Music Academy, and the Seattle Youth Jazz Ensemble.
